We're pleased to announce that we have two runners in the 2020 London Marathon!

Our incredible runners Ellie McCormack and Darren Rock are fundraising for Off The Record in support of our work with children and young people in South London. We're wishing them both the best of luck in their training and look forward to rooting them on on the big day in April.

As we countdown to the marathon we plan to share monthly updates with you on how training is progressing for both our runners. If you want to know a bit more about Darren and Ellie then check out their individual Virgin Money Giving pages. 

Training updates - January 2020

Darren is training extremely hard and is going on 3-4 shorter runs during the week including lots of interval training, and a long run at the weekend. On top of that Darren is also fitting in swimming and cycling, and is planning on starting hill training soon! He has just got a PB for a 10k, and has entered the Hampton Court half marathon at the end of February, which he hopes will be a good test to see how his fitness is progressing for the marathon.

Ellie has gone the extra mile and completed a long run on Christmas Eve. Now that January has begun Ellie is seriously getting into her training and this month made it through a tough first 20km run!
