We are thrilled that Off the Record has been awarded a new contract by Croydon Council to ensure the health and wellbeing needs of young carers and young adult carers in the borough of Croydon are met. This comes after an extensive commissioning process, which was designed in consultation with carers.

Carer Support

Through co-design and consultation, carers expressed the need for a fresh approach to delivering support services. Their invaluable insights and experiences have helped shape the development of a service that meets their needs.

The new contract will start on 1 April 2025.

Our Commitment to Young Carers and Young Adult Carers

At Off the Record, we are immensely proud to continue providing Young Carers’ and Young Adult Carers’ services for over 1,000 registered young carers in Croydon.

We’ve been providing support for young carers for over 20+ years now. We remain dedicated to ensuring that young carers continue to receive the tailored support they need to thrive while balancing their caregiving responsibilities with their own wellbeing and personal development.

Support for Young Carers in Croydon

Our Young Carers Service offers a range of free support to help you take a break, look after your wellbeing, and get the help you need including:

• Trips & Activities: Join us during school holidays for fun trips like trampolining, horse riding, cinema outings, and visits to Brighton or London—giving you a well-deserved break and the chance to meet other young carers.
• Mental Health Support: We offer 1:1 emotional support and group wellbeing sessions to give you space to talk through any challenges you may be facing.
